2015

After several years of unsatisfactory profitability, extensive work is being initiated and the business model is changed. A new decentralized strategy is being adopted in which acquired companies operate independently under their own brands. In the years that follow, a governance process based on “Policy Deployment,” a system inspired by the Danaher Corporation, is introduced. The process involves a number of operational efficiency improvement to increase profitability and create a platform for profitable growth. Clear focus areas are to increase the quality of services, improve pricing and reduce the cost base.

a merger of ISS Landscaping, Jungs, Mark & Trädgårdsanläggare Sjunnesson and Qbikum. Operations are concentrated to Sweden. The business model means that the acquired companies are integrated and form local business units with support from central functions. The business units are brought together under the Green Landscaping brand. The strategy is to become a leading player in the market through both organic growth and acquisitions, and where profitability is achieved through a cost-effective organization with economies of scale as key elements. The outcome over the next few years will be steady sales growth, while profitability will remain low.
